We combines the talents and experience of producers Grant Keir, Peter Day and director, Virginia Heath. We write, direct and produce drama, cinematic documentary, TV and hybrid content for the international and UK domestic markets.

‘Prince of Muck’, World Premiere ‘In Competition’ at Edinburgh International Film Festival EIFF 2021 and screened in the Luminous Section of IDFA 2021, (financed by Dutch Film Fund, Screen Scotland and DKC Rotterdam, Journeyman Pictures attached for Sales and Distribution). Sold to BBC4/ BBC Scotland (TX BBC4 18.05.2022), and was reviewed by The Daily Telegraph as ‘The best documentary you’ll see all year’.
Virginia Heath
Virginia Heath is a multi-award winning writer/director with New Zealand and UK nationality. She directs both drama and documentary films including the Berlinale award winning Relativity and the acclaimed, BAFTA nominated, From Scotland With Love.
Her most recent short film, In The Flame We Reveal Ourselves, a ‘climate anxiety’ film, is a collaboration with musicians, Afterlands, due to launch in 2025. Her film Cigar Box Blues, screened on BBC1 and BBC4. Her short drama, Lift Share, was funded by Creative Scotland, BFI and Scottish Film Talent Network, starring Ana Ularu (Siberia, Emerald City) and Mark Rowley (Last Kingdom, Macbeth), had its world premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, June 2018.
Virginia directed the BAFTA nominated feature length archive and music documentary From Scotland With Love (75’) which screened at film festivals around the world – ‘Brilliantly evokes the flavour of 20th century Scotland’ – The Herald; ‘Hypnotic’ – The Independent; ‘Some kind of genius’ – The Guardian; ‘Spellbinding’, The Radio Times.
Virginia’s short film Relativity (10’) won Best Short Film at the Berlin International Film Festival (2002) and was nominated for the European Film Academy Awards. She won a National Film Board of Canada / Sheffield Doc/Fest Cross Media Challenge Award (2009) for the My Dangerous Loverboy film and innovative Cross Platform Project about the sex trafficking of teenagers.
Her body of work features a distinctive directorial style and strong cinematic vision to explore her signature themes: women, power, love, betrayal, trust and desire.
Peter Day
Peter Day is a producer and director based in London and New Zealand. He has produced and directed documentaries for International broadcasters since 1991, including Off the Rails (2022). Many of his films have won international prizes and have appeared in numerous international festivals. He has made many European co-productions for ARTE, TV2 Denmark, YLE Finland, WDR Germany, and HBO amongst others.
