Faction North Ltd works at the cutting edge of features, drama, documentary, TV and cross platform production.  Led by award winning producer Grant Keir, the company was established in 1998 and has offices in the city of Edinburgh, Scotland.  We are currently co-producing 'A Very Unsettled Summer' with Anca Damian of Aparte Film (Romania) backed by Film i Vast and are in advanced development on the thriller "Mystery Ride" written and to be directed by Virginia Heath.  We are also coproducing the feature length drama "Kippie" with Uhuru Productions (South Africa) and the documentary 'Caledonia Australis' with Tait Brady's Acme Productions in Australia, backed by BBC Scotland, Creative Scotland and Screen Australia.   We are developing the dark sensual thriller "Bitter Little Twist" set in the Scottish Highlands.

Faction North combines the talents and experience of producers Grant Keir, Richard Warden and Peter Day, together with writer / director Virginia Heath.  We produce international award winning drama, such as our short film ‘Relativity’ that won the UIP Prix Berlinale in 2002 and we were the first company to produce an ‘on-line’ documentary series Smart Hearts, for Channel Four.  We regularly work with UK and international broadcasters including BBC, C4, ARTE, ABC Australia, UKFC, BFI, National Film Board of Canada, Screen Yorkshire and New Zealand Film Commission.  Click Grant Keir for imdb credits.
